These fees cover administrative costs, system processing, and any adjustments made after the booking is finalized.
Post-ticketing fees apply to all confirmed rentals booked through our website, customer support center, affiliate platforms, or promotional partners.
- Reservation Modification Fee
Once a rental confirmation has been issued, the following fees may apply if you request changes:- Date or Time Change
- A fee may be charged for modifying pickup or return times.
- Changes may also affect your rental rate or vehicle availability.
- Location Change (Pickup or Drop-Off)
- Switching to a different branch, airport, or city may incur:

- Upgrading or downgrading your reserved vehicle may result in:

- Name Correction or Driver Information Update
To maintain security and compliance, HCL Car Rental charges a small service fee for:- Correcting spelling errors
- Updating the primary driver's name
- Adding new driver information for an existing reservation
- Changing identification details after confirmation
- Add-Ons & Protection Plan Adjustments After Booking
If you modify add-ons after your reservation is confirmed, fees may include:- Add-on reprocessing fee
- Daily charge for additional equipment
- Upgrade fee for higher-tier insurance
- Reissuance fee for protection plans
- Late Pickup or No-Show Processing Fee
- Late Pickup Processing
If you arrive after the grace period and have not notified us in advance, a late-pickup fee may apply to hold the vehicle longer. - No-Show Fee
If you fail to pick up the vehicle without cancellation, a no-show penalty may be charged.
This helps cover administrative and vehicle holding costs.
No-show fees are non-refundable.

Post-rental adjustments involving billing may incur service fees:- Rebilling Due to Incorrect Payment Information
- Card disputes
- Expired or declined payment cards

- Itemized damage statements
- Toll or violation documents
- Administrative Processing Fee
Charged when processing:- Parking tickets
- Toll violations
- Traffic citations
- Third-party fines
- Rebilling Due to Incorrect Payment Information
- Damage Evaluation & Claim Processing Fee
If a vehicle is returned with new damage:- A claim processing fee may be applied
- Third-party inspection or assessment charges may be separate
- The service fee is independent of repair costs
- Fuel Policy Adjustment Fees
Depending on the chosen fuel policy:- Refueling Service Fee
If the tank is not returned full, a per-gallon rate plus a service charge applies. - Prepaid Fuel Modifications
Adjusting or canceling prepaid fuel after confirmation may incur a reprocessing fee.

- Bank transaction charges may be deducted
- Currency conversion differences are the responsibility of the renter
- When Post-Ticketing Fees Do NOT Apply
HCL Car Rental does not charge post-ticketing fees when:- We must modify a reservation due to operational issues
- A system error caused incorrect booking details
- A location becomes temporarily unavailable
- A vehicle category is oversold and we upgrade at no cost
